Masterpiece Apple Blossom Setting D Flawless Type IIA Oval Cut Diamond Ring 5.90ct in 18ct Yellow Gold and Platinum
Oval Cut, Four Claw Set

Description
The alluring sparkle of an important Type IIA 5.90ct oval cut diamond commands attention as the centrepiece of this striking engagement ring. Secured by four hand shaped platinum talon claws the elegant shape of this beautiful diamond have been expertly contrasted by warm 18ct yellow gold shoulders that have been intricately hand engraved with a Cotswold apple blossom pattern. This eye-catching and delicate setting was inspired by the rich and ancient symbolism that is attached to apple blossom. The central diamond seen here was mined in South Africa, and is accompanied by certification from the GIA (Gemmological Institute of America) to confirm its rare D (colourless) and Flawless grades. Further classified as Type IIA this rare diamond is the most sought after of the five types of diamonds. This classification means this striking oval cut has an attractive limpid appearance due to it being chemically pure and optically transparent. This delicate design showcases our connection to jewellery history and was inspired by the naturalistic forms of the Arts & Crafts movement. All Pragnell Masterpiece creations are unique expressions of our rich history of being part of the most special moments in our clients' lives.
