Since our inception in 1945, philanthropic work has remained at the heart of the company. We support a range of charitable organisations both local to Stratford-upon-Avon and across the nation.

Royal Shakespeare Company
Pragnell takes an active part in supporting the Royal Shakespeare Company and were honoured to be able to support the RSC in rebuilding its theatres in Stratford-upon-Avon to create the best spaces for audiences, visitors and artists.

Oxford Children Hospital
Oxford Children's Hospital opened its doors in 2007, designed with the needs of children and their families in mind. In 2018 Pragnell donated a Rockstar pendant, in celebration of the hospital's 10th anniversary as it continues to raise important funds to make a difference to their young patients and their families.

Supporting Maggie's
Maggie’s offers the best possible support, free of charge, to anyone with cancer and their families who walk through our doors. Pragnell is proud to support the charity’s Christmas event, donating a prize for the fundraising raffle on 7th December 2023.

The Shakespeare Hospice is a charity whose principal objective is to promote the relief of sickness in various ways. Pragnell is among the charity's friends and supporters who work tirelessly to raise the £2 million needed to keep its doors open.

Shipston Home Nursing
Shipston Home Nursing is a local charity that has been operating since 1997, looking after terminally ill people who wish to be nursed at home. Pragnell sponsored the 2017 SHN 20th Anniversary Ball.

Stratford Literary Festival
Since 2008 the Stratford literary festival has been bringing an exciting mixture of debate, ideas, celebrity author events, workshops and humour in spring and autumn. Pragnell is a sponsor of the charity’s autumn festival on the 27th -29th October and their upcoming spring festival dates.

The Dinosaur Trust
The Dinosaur Trust funds research into a rare form of Pulmonary Artery Hypertension (PAH) in order to save and improve the lives of children and adults. Pragnell dedicated the Rockstar pendant to the cause, helping to support more people in need.

Marie Curie
Established in 1948, Marie Curie has provided care and support to people with terminal illnesses and their families for 70 years. The Pragnell Daffodil Ring was designed in recognition of Marie Curie's outstanding work and was sold at their fundraising dinner.

Shakespeare Birthplace Trust
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is dedicated to promoting and preserving his works, life and times. We are deeply grateful to them for allowing us access to their archive and treasures, which have inspired the development of the William Shakespeare Anniversary Limited Edition Pen. Five per cent of the income for every pen sold is donated to the Trust to support its ongoing work.

Sugar Plum
JDRF is a cause close to Jubie Wigan's heart after her daughter, Aliena, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at just two years old. Following Aliena’s diagnosis, Jubie set up Sugarplum Children, which is a website and fundraising initiative aimed at children who have type 1 diabetes, offering help, support and advice to both the children and their parents, whilst fundraising for JDRF.

Wasps Legends
The Wasps Community Foundation aims to educate, motivate and inspire people through the power of sport. Pragnell linked up with Wasps in 2017 to help benefit children with learning difficulties in Coventry and Warwickshire.

The WI
Pragnell joined hands with The Women's Institute (WI) in Warwickshire to play a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.
