Stratford Literary Festival

The Stratford Literary Festival is a prominent literary event held in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. Each year, it attracts thousands of visitors. The festival takes place over several days in May, followed by a shorter series of events in autumn. The festival encompasses a variety of events, such as celebrity author discussions, debates, and workshops, drawing in a diverse range of speakers, including internationally renowned authors, presenters, and emerging talent.

The festival aims to promote writers' work, sell books, encourage discoverability, and promote the benefits of reading and writing for education, literacy, and well-being on a local level. Mishal Husain, the well-known radio presenter and TV newsreader, will discuss her Sunday Times bestselling memoir, giving a personal and unique perspective on India in 1947, the year when Partition led to the creation of Pakistan. The memoir focuses on the experiences of her four grandparents.
