Pragnell and the RSC

For over 30 years Pragnell has been proud to be a partner of the Royal Shakespeare Company - widely known as the RSC.

The RSC is one of the world's most renowned theatre companies, located in our hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon, England. Founded in 1961, the RSC is famous for producing and performing the works of William Shakespeare and contemporary playwrights.

Shared Roots

Pragnell has enjoyed a longstanding partnership with the RSC across the decades, rooted in our shared heritage in Stratford-upon-Avon. Throughout this collaboration, which began with our founder, George Pragnell, we have supported the RSC's productions and initiatives, working together to promote the arts and preserve Shakespeare's legacy.

Along with a shared British heritage and dedication to preserving British craftsmanship, our partnership is committed to and proud of supporting British talent in our hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon and further afield. The Royal Shakespeare Company's craft and dedication, across all departments, both on and off stage, are comparable to Pragnell master craftsmen and apprentices preserving the unique techniques required to handcraft Pragnell jewellery. In 2025, we announced a further addition to our partnership, creating a Craft and Design apprenticeship scheme sponsored by Pragnell.
