Antique Victorian Circular Disc Cufflinks in 18ct Yellow Gold
Description
A pair of French 18ct yellow gold circular disc cufflinks with groove design, by Mellerio dits Meller Fréres. The Mellerio family, jewellers and goldsmiths for generations, were Italians from the Lombardy region that had settled in Paris since 1613. Clients included Marie Antoinette, Duchess du Barry & Charles X and later Princess Mathilde & Queen Isabella of Spain.
