Description
A classic ring in gleaming platinum that showcases the pure contrast between strong geometric lines and curved forms, which became so well-known during the Art Deco period (1911-1940). A tactile and alluring central 1.68ct brilliant cut diamond has been secured by twelve sturdy claws (double examples at the four compass stations). Elaborate scroll work patterns define the under bezel with the design being completed by arrangements of part openwork lozenge shapes set to the top sections of each shoulder. These showcase smaller brilliants that draw the eye towards the impressive central stone. The Art Deco movement has truly stood the test of time with classic designs being hugely influential in modern jewellery design and the wider decorative arts today. This ring has enough presence to stand out worn on its own, or be effortlessly combined with existing pieces from your collection.
