Catching the eye with a bold sparkle an important 10.32ct Type IIA oval cut diamond has been expertly claw set as the centrepiece of this stunning ring. Certified by the GIA (Gemmological Institute of America) as completely colourless (D) with Internally Flawless clarity this rare diamond is further classified as Type IIA. The most sought after, and rarest of the five types of diamonds this classification means this exceptional oval cut has an attractive limpid appearance due to it being chemically pure and optically transparent. Incredibly difficult to find, the Pragnell family travelled around the globe to source this impressive diamond, which was yielded from the famous Karowe mine in Botswana. A state-of-the-art facility the open pit mine has gained an outstanding reputation since being commissioned in 2012. Designed by a member of the family the soft lines of the central diamond have been expertly complemented by a richly polished buttery 18ct yellow gold mount. Small sparkling brilliants (0.29ct) have been intricately set around the sides of the impressive central diamond, excitingly catching admiring glances.
