Description
Burma, or Myanmar, is a country that is renowned for its deposits of extraordinary gemstones. Our cluster ring features a certified 1.66ct oval cut Burmese pink sapphire that displays the much sought after rich pink tone. Before deposits were discovered elsewhere in the 1990s, Burma was one of only three locations where pink sapphires were found, and is still looked to for the finest stones. Secured by ten yellow gold claws to complement its warm tones, the sapphire is surrounded by a halo of large and small colourless brilliant diamonds that have been set into a richly polished scalloped platinum surround. The split shank is decorated to provide interest and draw the eye towards the centre stone. This is a classic cluster ring that will stand the test of time and mark a special occasion perfectly. The certified sapphire is a rare example, being completely natural and having received no heat treatment to enhance its colour. Check Specifications for ring size details.
