Royal Connections & Historic Masterpieces
Garrard & Co. Convertible Old Mine-Cut Diamond Coronet, c.1860
A centrepiece of the exhibition was a remarkable Garrard & Co. coronet — a masterpiece set with 342 old mine-cut diamonds totalling approximately 45 carats. Crafted in silver and 18ct yellow gold. Its versatile design transforms seamlessly from coronet to a stunning fringe tiara or an elegant necklace featuring delicate motifs that beautifully catch the light, exemplifying the ingenuity of 19th-century craftsmanship.
This piece reflects Pragnell’s long-standing tradition of presenting jewels with rich royal provenance and exceptional artistry.
Contemporary Masterpieces from the Pragnell Workshops
The exhibition also showcased newly unveiled one-of-a-kind Masterpieces, created by Pragnell’s English master-craftsmen. Each piece celebrated nature’s finest gemstones — from vivid emeralds to exceptional diamonds — and demonstrated uncompromising attention to detail.
