About Patek Philippe Complications
Patek Philippe have been masters of complicated watchmaking since they were founded in Geneva in 1839. With their first complicated wristwatch seen in 1916, Patek Philippe continues to push the boundaries of high horology with a diverse range of timepieces for both men and women.
Entering their 182nd year in 2021, Patek Philippe currently produce thirty-four complicated models that display classic style coupled with the latest in innovative Swiss watchmaking technology. Particular highlights include the 4947A/1A-001 annual calendar model with intricate blue ‘shantung’ finished dial. A number of plain hand-polished and diamond-set annual calendar models can be found in the collection, first launched by Patek in 1996, and requires adjustment only once a year on the 1st March. The now iconic world time complication, first seen in 1939 also features in the collection with models for men and women that allow 24 time zones that can be viewed with incredible ease.
