Octagonal Cut 1.66ct Colombian Emerald and Diamond Ring in Platinum and 18ct Yellow Gold
Octagonal & Trapeze Cut, Claw Set

Description
A verdant green octagonal cut emerald (1.66ct) catches the eye as the centrepiece of this beautiful ring. Four expertly shaped yellow gold talon claws ensure this rare gemstone is perfectly secure. Nestled beneath the rainforests that cover the country, the Colombian mines are famous for producing stones that have an intense green colour. Hand selected by members of the Pragnell family, this example is accompanied by certification from the GCS (Gemmological Certification Services) to confirm that it has only been subjected to minor treatment to enhance its colour and clarity. Expertly designed by members of the Pragnell family the green tones of this emerald have been perfectly complemented by platinum shoulders set with trapeze and tapered baguette cut diamonds (0.83ct). As a sixth-generation family jeweller Pragnell are experts at sourcing the rarest and most sought-after gemstones in the world.
