Rare African aquamarine featured in Pragnell's Out of Africa exhibition

Out of Africa: A Rare Coloured Gemstone Exhibition

Our passion for jewellery begins with the stones themselves. This August, we invite you to discover Out of Africa, an exhibition bringing together rare coloured gemstones and new jewellery creations sourced from across the continent. From Namibian lagoon tourmalines and Zambian Lukusuzi aquamarines to Tanzanian Kitulo garnets, each stone carries the character of its landscape and the story of its origin. A celebration of colour, provenance, rarity and discovery.

Out of Africa

Over generations, Pragnell has forged close relationships with gemstone mines and artisanal mining communities across Africa. This year’s exhibition presents the latest discoveries from Namibia, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya and Nigeria, alongside loose gemstones and new Pragnell creations. Each gemstone has been carefully hand-selected from the rough and followed on its journey from the earth to the finished jewel.
