Masterpiece 44.77ct Lukusuzi Aquamarine and Diamond Pendant in 18ct Yellow Gold

A majestic 44.77ct emerald cut aquamarine forms the centrepiece of one of the latest creations from our Masterpiece Collection. Secured by four double sets of expertly polished warm 18ct yellow gold hand shaped talon claws this impressive gemstone captivates with clear Aegean Sea blue tones. Set into a beautiful pendant this impressive gemstone has been securely claw set into bold 18ct yellow gold with a tactile surround that pays homage to our extensive collection of antique and period jewellery. A detailed bale suspends this jewel from an intricate handmade English chain (42cm). An angled geometric frame surrounds the sides and bottom section of the main stone, and has been set with sparkling brilliant cut diamonds. The drop pendant element is connected to the necklace by a trillion-cut aquamarine (2.79ct) that defines the display of geometric forms. Both the aquamarines set into this necklace originated from the Lukusuzi mine in Zambia, the primary source for aquamarines at Pragnell. The artisanal mine is owned and run by the local community. Pragnell are proud to showcase these breath-taking non-heated Lukusuzi aquamarines, which have been hand selected by the family for their superlative colour, clarity and size.
