Description
At its centre, a striking 5.26ct brilliant cut diamond is expertly claw set in platinum, creating a powerful focal point. Sourced from Angola, the diamond is accompanied by GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certification, confirming its exceptional D colour and VS1 clarity. The soft curves of the central stone are contrasted with angular carré cut diamond shoulders (0.38ct). These shoulder stones require exceptional precision, with highly skilled diamond cutters shaping each carré cut diamond to fit the ring perfectly. Originating in the 1930s, the carré cut is synonymous with Art Deco design. As a form of step cut, it creates dramatic flashes of light through the interplay of stepped facets and the mirroring effect of the large table. At the heart of the design sits a rare diamond, a defining feature of the Masterpiece collection, secured in a refined four-claw setting. Handcrafted in our workshops in the heart of England, every Pragnell Masterpiece is a unique expression of our heritage and our role in life's most significant moments, bearing the Pragnell Seal as a mark of exceptional artistry, craftsmanship and gemstones.
