On either side, sparkling trapeze cut diamonds (1.02cts) have been expertly hand selected and positioned to discreetly draw the eye towards the central sapphire with their delicate brilliance. Large sapphire deposits were discovered on the island in the 1990s, and its gemstones have since become renowned for their exceptional quality, vibrant colour and impressive size. The sapphire featured here evokes the beauty of tropical flowers on a summer's day, with its distinctive colour resulting from the presence of trace elements of iron and titanium. The sapphire is accompanied by certification from the American Gemological Laboratories (AGL), confirming that it has not been subjected to heat treatment to enhance its colour. The trapeze cut diamonds are each accompanied by certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), confirming their D colour and VVS1 clarity grades.
