Skimming Stone 2.66 Kitulo Garnet and Diamond Pendant in 18ct Yellow Gold
Pear Shaped & Brilliant Cut , Claw Set
Description
A captivating pear cut purplish-pink Kitulo garnet (2.66ct) commands attention set into a stunning Skimming Stone pendant. The captivating mellow pink tones of this garnet remind us of the spectacular floral displays found in the Kitulo National Park in East Africa. Visited by members of the Pragnell family, the park is known as 'God’s Garden' and can be found spectacularly carpeted in pink flowers from late November to April. This beautiful gemstone has been claw-set and enveloped in a tactile bold gold surround. A small sparkling brilliant cut diamond (0.25ct) has been set atop to complete the design. As a sixth-generation family jeweller, the Pragnell family has drawn inspiration from the softly curved profile of stones found in the riverbeds of Botswana, creating this refreshing contemporary style. Handcrafted in our workshops in the heart of England this piece showcases exceptional artistry, craftsmanship and gemstones.
