A silver chamber stick of exceptional quality, the circular dish base richly chased with scrolling foliage and floral ornament, from which rises a cast cherub, wings spread, knees drawn up, supporting a tulip-form socket above. Made by Paul Storr, the most distinguished silversmith of the Regency period and one of the great names in English silver history, this chamber stick is a piece of considerable importance. Hallmarked London 1833, it is a rare opportunity to acquire a signed work of genuine museum quality.
