Description
A magnificent pair of Victorian silver five-light candelabra by the distinguished Sheffield silversmiths Hawksworth, Eyre & Co., hallmarked 1894. Each candelabrum rises from a square beaded base on a tall spirally fluted column, from which four scrolling arms extend to hold the outer sconces whilst a fifth rises centrally above. The sconces and nozzles are richly decorated with acanthus leaf detail throughout, and each base bears an engraved monogram. A pair of exceptional presence and quality, certain to command attention on any dining table or sideboard.
