Octagonal Cut 2.37ct Zambian Emerald and Diamond Ring in 18ct Yellow Gold
Octagonal Cut, Rubover Set
Description
A striking Art Deco style emerald and diamond ring. Expertly crafted from 18ct yellow gold this striking design showcases the strong lines and geometric forms of the famed Art Deco period (1911-1940). The central octagonal cut Zambian emerald (2.37ct) has been securely rubover set and surrounded by sparkling brilliant diamonds. Two Asscher cut diamonds flank the central emerald perfectly complementing the design. Zambian emeralds are highly regarded, displaying rich green colour tones. The country is an incredibly important source of fine emeralds, with mining steadily increasing since the 1970s. This beautiful emerald has been certified by the Gem Research Swiss Lab confirming that it has been subjected to minor treatment to enhance its colour and clarity.
