Masterpiece Regency Asscher Cut Diamond Ring
Introducing a striking Regency Asscher Cut Diamond Ring, a celebration of heritage, geometry and craftsmanship. At its heart lies a stunning 8.03 carat Asscher cut diamond, sourced from a vintage piece - a true expression of classical elegance and exquisite rarity.
Timeless Geometry
Cut From Another Era
The Asscher cut was developed by Joseph Asscher in Amsterdam in 1902, featuring a distinctive stepped square design with deeply cropped corners and a mesmerising "hall of mirrors" effect. The Royal Asscher Diamond Company perfected the cut, and it became the defining stone of the Art Deco era. Possibly the most legendary example is Elizabeth Taylor's Krupp Diamond, a 33.19 carat Asscher that Richard Burton famously purchased for her at auction in 1968. The cut has experienced a major revival in the early 2000s, cementing its status as a timeless classic.

Symmetry and Elegance
Hand-selected by members of the Pragnell family for its unique attributes this ring focuses on a vintage 8.03ct Asscher cut diamond , which has been sympathetically repolished to refresh its iconic geometry from a bygone era for the discerning modern collector. The F colour and VS1 clarity central Asscher cut diamond has been expertly paired with tapered baguette-cut diamonds, the crisp lines and large table facets of these shoulder stones perfectly complement the central stone creating a strikingly bold, geometric silhouette.

Crafting A Modern Heirloom
The minute details of this piece contribute to its well-balanced design. Inspired by the solid architectural forms of the early 19th-century Regency period, the exquisite gemstones are securely claw-set as the centrepiece with smaller tapering baguette-cut diamonds set on either side, echoing the iconic stonework found in the Royal Crescent. The band is tapered to match the shape of the custom-cut side stones, resulting in a beautiful, flowing silhouette. Masterfully handcrafted in our English workshops this piece is the result of a collaboration between our master craftsmen and members of the Pragnell family.
