Description

A diamond and pearl emu brooch from the Edwardian period. A Mississippi pearl forms the body and wing of this majestic bird, with an elegant long neck set with brilliant cut diamonds, a ruby set eye and textured gold feet. This rare pearl has been sourced from the Mississippi river in America. Its shape and texture perfectly depict the proud plumage of the emu.
