Cushion Cut 6.61ct Namibian Lagoon Tourmaline and Diamond Ring in 18ct Yellow Gold
Modern Cushion Cut, Claw Set
Description
A distinctive greenish-blue cushion cut Namibian lagoon tourmaline (6.61ct) takes centre stage, elegantly framed on each side by a pair of diamonds (1.11ct total)—a trapeze cut and a tapered baguette cut. The geometric arrangement of the shoulder stones enhances the vibrancy and depth of the central tourmaline, creating a refined and contemporary composition. The tourmaline originates from the Erongo region of Namibia, known for producing exceptional examples in ‘lagoon’, indicolite and ‘mint’ tones. Most miners work in small independent groups, sharing profits equally from this important gemstone that symbolises prosperity and hope. Pragnell are proud to showcase this breath-taking Erongo lagoon tourmaline, hand selected by the family for its superlative colour and clarity. As a sixth-generation family-run business, the Pragnell family are delighted to support the cooperative-run mine, which focuses on the welfare of the miners and the local community. The four diamonds are of G colour and VS clarity. Handcrafted in our workshops in the heart of England, this ring offers the superb quality of the Pragnell Seal and showcases exceptional artistry, craftsmanship and gemstones.
