Cushion Cut 2.36ct Sri Lankan Sapphire and Diamond Ring in 18ct Yellow Gold
Cushion Cut, Claw Set
Description
Handcrafted from 18ct yellow gold, a modern cushion cut entrancing Sri Lankan blue sapphire (2.36ct) takes centre stage. This has been expertly secured with four hand-shaped claws, and draws the eye with refreshing tones. Sparkling brilliants (0.12ct) have been set into the surrounding halo to perfectly complete this design. Sri Lanka (Ceylon) is known as "The Gem Island” and is famous for producing a wide variety of exceptional quality stones. Many of the most famous sapphires in the world have come from Sri Lanka, with the characteristic vivid, lighter, and brighter blue colour of these stones being highly regarded. The sapphire set into this ring is accompanied with certification from the WGI (World Gemological Institute) confirming it has been subjected to heat treatment to enhance its colour and clarity. This delicate and classic design combines the birthstones for the months of April and September. Handcrafted in our workshops in the heart of England this ring offers the superb quality of the Pragnell Seal and showcases exceptional artistry, craftsmanship and gemstones.
