Description
A contemporary Burmese Ruby and diamond cluster ring catches the eye with a striking firework motif. A vibrant 1.29ct cushion cut ruby has been expertly set as the centrepiece of this breath taking design, and surrounded by an arrangement of eight sparkling marquise cut diamonds that have been set into 18ct white gold. Set into gleaming 18ct white gold we are reminded of the colours and sights of a classic bonfire night celebration. This design was clearly inspired by the mid-20th-century bold cluster designs from New York where the beauty of each diamond and gemstone was conveyed. Burma, or Myanmar, is a country that is renowned for its deposits of extraordinary rubies and other sought after gemstones. The beautiful ruby featured in this ring is accompanied by certification from the German Foundation for Gemstone Research to confirm a sought after Burmese origin, and that it has not been subjected to any heat treatment to enhance its vibrant colour.
