This collection has been designed by members of the Pragnell family, who visited Egypt to see the wonders of this ancient civilisation. Masters of intricate goldwork and gemstone jewellery, the barrel-shaped bead or ‘Sha’bi’ pattern designs in gold and precious gemstones were found in the three-thousand-year-old tomb of the Eighteenth Dynasty pharaoh, Tutankhamun.
