Art Deco Rock Crystal and Diamond Necklace 14.19ct in Platinum

A statement pear, old cut diamond and rock crystal necklace from the Art Deco period (c.1930s). Supremely elegant when worn this necklace is composed of two rows of millegrain navette and round collet diamond set elements (11.00cts). Gleaming in lustrous platinum they showcase intricate engraved foliate decoration and have been expertly linked together to comfortably encircle the neck. Four stations of three polished rock crystal rectangular and circular oversized links bring this piece to life. Beautifully complementing the subtle sparkle of the diamonds, the flawless rock crystal elements will blend with any colourful silks or velvets worn beneath. A small rock crystal oversized circular link connects a dazzling slim pear cut diamond drop pendant section. This characterful 3.19ct, Type IIa diamond is accompanied by certification from the GIA (Gemmological Institute of America) to confirm desirable E colour and VVS2 clarity grades. The famed 17th century Chateau of Versailles in France features countless majestic chandeliers that sparkle with carved rock crystal drops.
