Description

A bold palladium and cabochon cut blue-grey star sapphire gypsy set ring from the Art Deco period. This was an incredibly popular style during the earlier Victorian and Edwardian periods with examples produced showcasing diamonds and various coloured gemstones. Commanding attention the central blue-grey star sapphire showcases a superb star pattern (asterism), which has been perfectly complemented by two sparkling round cut diamonds set either side. Durable and lustrous palladium was used in jewellery production during the Art Deco period as a substitute of platinum.
