About IWC Aquatimer Watches

IWC has over 50 years’ experience producing divers’ watches. Created to be used as professional instruments for divers; the IWC Aquatimer is ready for any adventure on land or under the sea.

As the sport of diving grew in popularity in the 1960’s, IWC reacted and launched their first divers watch, named the Aquatimer. With water resistance to 200 metres and an internal rotatable bezel to track elapsed time under water, this timepiece was ready to meet the demands of divers worldwide. Fast forward to the current collection and these features are still in use today, across a three handed date model and chronograph model ready for the open seas.
