Description

A striking and highly detailed eagle’s head forms the centrepiece of this immensely wearable pendant. Originally an elegant stick pin from the Victorian period this was designed to take pride of place in the lapel of a jacket. Crafted out of 18ct yellow gold the feathers, beak and alert eyes have been expertly modelled. A highly symbolic animal that was popularly used in jewellery the eagle was known to represent nobility, strength, wisdom, courage and power. In the United States of America, the eagle is the well-known emblem of the nation. Expertly converted in the Pragnell workshops into a stylish pendant this has been paired with a simple 18ct yellow gold 46cm chain.
