Description
With a star-cut base, the decorative mounts to the spout and sleeve have masks of the 'Young Bacchus' entwined with chased vine leaves and grapes; the plain 'S' scroll handle sweeps down to a plain silver band around the body; and surmounting the shallow domed lid with gadroon mounts is a rampant lion with a shield.
