Silver gilt finely decorated cup with lid with floral finial standing on a substantial light green onyx plinth By Barnard & Sons. Fine applied grape detailing in bands to the lid, body and base interspersed with hand-engraved scenes. The lid displays a selection of engraved foul. The main body of the cup display two engraved bands, both showing historical rural hunting scenes. The base features a domed band with foliate engraving, a combination of fruit and vegetables. Very unusual.
