Description
A cut-glass decanter richly cut with diamond and flute decoration that catches the light with great brilliance. A plain silver collar fits neatly to the neck, secured by a silver chain to the faceted glass stopper above. The decanter sits within a silver stand of reeded circular form, raising the piece elegantly from the table. Made by Walker and Hall, one of Sheffield's most celebrated silversmithing firms, and hallmarked 1921, this is a distinguished piece of Edwardian entertaining silver in excellent condition.
