The Grand Complications collection from Patek Philippe showcases the superb artistry and skill of the true masters of horological complications. Since 1839, Patek Philippe has focused on showcasing the most complicated wristwatches, which embody an individual and distinguished elegance. The 5374G-001 is the latest version of the 5374P-001, which was first seen in the Patek Philippe collection in 2016. Showcasing clean and fresh lines, a gleaming white gold 42mm case ensures this model has a strong presence on the wrist. Demonstrating superb horological skill, the 5374G-001 combines both a perpetual calendar (no adjustment required until 2100), and a minute repeater with exceptional 'cathedral' gongs that give a rich and deep sound. A fresh blue Grand Feu enamel dial ensures maximum legibility with an eye-catching glossy finish. A shiny disk blue alligator leather strap completes this exceptional piece with a fold-over clasp ensuring it can be effortlessly taken on and off the wrist. The 5374G-001 houses the now legendary self-winding mechanical movement (calibre R 27 Q), which has a maximum power reserve of 48 hours.
Available on an application only basis, the 5374G-001 perfectly embodies the slogan, “you never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation”. The audible chimes of each 5374G-001 are listened to by the Company President, Mr Thierry Stern, before leaving the manufacture in Geneva to ensure they sound exactly right.
