Local Connections

K&M Racing is a joint venture between David Killahena and Graeme McPherson, located in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire.

Founded shortly after the start of the 2023/24 season, K&M Racing boasts one of the country’s most dynamic and cutting-edge training facilities. Nestled in the Cotswolds, in the heart of National Hunt Country, the facility is conveniently situated near several premier racecourses, including the renowned Cheltenham racecourse just a short distance away.

Dream Team

David Killahena has extensive experience in high-level racing, having worked with notable trainers Aidan O’Brien and Owen Burrows on the flat and, more recently, with Fergal O’Brien in jump racing. Leading the Martins Hill setup for O’Brien McPherson Racing from October 2021 to June 2023, he achieved over 50 winners in less than two years.

From 2010 to 2021, Graeme McPherson trained more than 200 winners at Martins Hill, achieving considerable success with a wonderful group of owners.

David, Graeme and the Martins Hill team ensure that every horse in training can achieve its maximum potential.

A Season to Remember

The season kicked off with a win in May 2024, as Sister Michael triumphed at Warwick during the bank holiday weekend. Overall, the 2024/2025 season was fantastic, featuring 140 jump runners and 12 flat runners. The team achieved 28 wins with 20 different horses and secured 60 places.
