Ankh Symbol
The Ankh, originating around 3000 BC in ancient Egypt, symbolises life and protection, known as the "key of life." Today, it's worn as a talisman for vitality and positivity, available in plain gold or embellished with gemstones for personalisation.
Endless Knot
The Endless Knot, also known as the Eternal Knot, is one of the eight auspicious symbols in Tibetan Buddhism. This intricately woven design, with no clear beginning or end, beautifully represents the infinite wisdom and compassion of the Buddha.

Constellation
The latest Constellation Charms represent the 12 astrological signs, embodying the unique star patterns of the constellations along the ecliptic. This path showcases the Sun's journey, emphasising the distinctive traits associated with each zodiac sign.

New charm designs include the Cross, the Star of David, and the Hand of Fatima. The Hand of Fatima, originating from an ancient city in the second millennium BCE, is a talisman believed to ward off evil and bad luck, often featuring the evil eye.

In the 18th century, charms became a fashionable way to express one's personality and showcase family crests. Their popularity continued to grow throughout the 20th century, establishing them as essential items in jewellery collections.
The Pragnell Charms Collection draws inspiration from the extensive assortment of vintage and period jewellery that the Pragnell family has lovingly curated over the years.
Ancient Crafting Method
Pragnell demonstrates its commitment to preserving the art of artisanal jewellery craftsmanship in our British workshops. Our creations, such as the Ankh Cross, Pragnell Zodiac Charms, and various symbols within the Medallion collections, are meticulously crafted using the lost-wax casting method.
This technique enables us to produce duplicate metal sculptures from an original wax model, allowing for the precise reproduction of delicate details by making multiple copies from a single mould. It results in beautifully crafted three-dimensional charms with a texture reminiscent of an ancient coin, as seen in the newly designed, delicate, rectangular Zodiac Charm and the original Pragnell Zodiac disc charm, both available in rich yellow gold.

Each 18ct yellow gold chain is available in two lengths (45cm and 60cm) and has dedicated jump rings to anchor the charms, ensuring they sit perfectly whether stacked or solo.
