Description

Crafted from lustrous and durable platinum two parallel slim triangular sections form the focal point of this bold design from the Art Deco period (1911-1940). Showcasing a striking contrast one section features sparkling eight cut diamonds (0.59ct) that have been expertly arranged to completely fill the space. These truly come alive set beside tactile moulded black glass, which was used widely during the period as it enabled striking and complicated designs to be created. Showpiece jewels in black and white were worn to maximum effect against the bold fashions of the period. Originally this ring would have been worn as a stylish accessory along with an arrangement of bold bracelets and other jewels to an evening party. During this period short sleeved fashions exposed the arms and wrists, and enabled sparkling jewels to catch all eyes on the dance floor.
