Description
A statement blackened silver and cream lustrous pearl rectangular plaque ring from the Victorian period. Perfect to wear for a special ball or party this bold design features two beautiful pearls (4-5.5mm). These have been surrounded by a rectangular frame set with romantically sparkling old European cut diamonds that will come alive when worn in softer evening light. Diamond and gemstone set rings became hugely popular during the Victorian period when it became fashionable to wear multiple examples on each hand. This was influenced by Queen Victoria and her royal relatives who dictated styles and tastes to the Empire at large.
