Founded in 1860 in St-Imier, Switzerland, TAG Heuer has built its reputation on precision, innovation and a close association with motorsport, becoming one of the most recognised names in Swiss watchmaking. The Carrera, introduced in 1963, was created with racing drivers in mind and has since become one of the Maison’s defining collections, distinguished by its clean, legible design and performance-driven character. The Carrera Date Automatic, ref. WBN2311.BA0001, features a 36mm stainless steel case with a polished fixed bezel and a domed, bevelled sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment. Its deep blue sunray-brushed dial is framed by a graduated blue ring along the flange and features applied 18ct 5N rose gold-plated indexes, complemented by faceted rose gold-plated hour and minute hands with green Super-LumiNova®. A date aperture at 6 o’clock completes the display. At its heart is the automatic TAG Heuer Calibre 7, offering hours, minutes, seconds and date functions with a 42-hour power reserve. The watch is fitted with a polished and fine-brushed H-shaped stainless steel bracelet and folding clasp with double safety push-buttons, while the sapphire case back provides a view of the movement. Water resistant to 50 metres, the timepiece is covered by TAG Heuer’s five-year warranty.
