Description


A late Victorian silver mounted engraved glass claret jug by Joseph Braham, hallmarked London 1880. The broad conical glass body is engraved with bands of geometric decoration including repeating triangular and linear motifs, whilst the tall silver neck, handle and hinged domed cover with ball finial are reeded and engraved to complement the glass throughout. A well-proportioned and characterful piece of Victorian table silver.
