The 41 mm white gold case, adorned with a hobnail pattern, frames an exceptionally refined textured lacquered navy blue dial with a black-gradient rim. Applied numerals and syringe-shaped hour and minute hands in white gold are enhanced with white luminescent coating. The date is displayed by hand in a subdial at 6 o’clock. This is one of the few Patek Philippe chiming timepieces to feature a water-resistant case. The alarm function of the self-winding AL 30-660 S C calibre chimes elegantly, with a single hammer striking a classic gong. This mechanism incorporates four newly patented innovations. The watch is secured to the wrist with a navy blue composite strap with a fabric pattern and contrasting cream stitching, fitted with a patented triple-blade fold-over clasp in white gold. It is also supplied with an additional beige calfskin strap with a nubuck finish.
