The Making of a Masterpiece
A Pragnell masterpiece begins with a stunning gemstone. The ideal stone can have a mesmerising effect when you gaze into it. Once we have found the perfect stone, our focus shifts to creating a piece of jewellery that showcases it in the best possible light.
Gemstone Sourcing
Pragnell is known for the exceptional quality of our gemstones. Our skilled gemmologists carefully examine numerous sapphires, rubies, and diamonds, choosing only those that they deem genuinely stunning. You can be confident that every gemstone from Pragnell meets the highest standards, has been selected by a member of the Pragnell family, and has been sourced ethically and responsibly.
Craftsmanship
We are proud to embrace a distinct design philosophy that highlights exceptional craftsmanship in our jewellery workshops, paired with innovative design technology. Our commitment to outstanding customer service remains unwavering. By blending traditional techniques with cutting-edge advancements, we create a unique fusion that distinguishes our craftsmanship. Most of our Pragnell jewellery is meticulously handmade in our British workshops, while select pieces are produced in specialised workshops across Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and the USA.

Our Services
Our business has grown significantly over the years and now employs a large team of talented individuals, including gemmologists, registered valuers, jewellery designers, watchmakers, engravers, clockmakers, goldsmiths, and silversmiths. While we utilise the latest technology, our focus remains on the timeless quality and craftsmanship of the past. We strive to create pieces that are not only beautiful but also built to last.
The Pragnell Seal
When a Pragnell Masterpiece is completed, it receives our official seal of approval. This seal represents the highest standards of quality, design, and uniqueness found in no other jewel. It reflects the Pragnell family's deep connection to Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwickshire, seamlessly blending history, geography, and craftsmanship.
The Pragnell Seal features a falcon, the bird of prey depicted at the top of Shakespeare's family coat of arms. This seal assures customers that their piece of jewellery is handcrafted in the UK by artisans whose expertise has been passed down through generations.
