Powered by the hand-wound Calibre FB-T.FC-2, its trio of bevelled sapphire half-bridges are hand-engraved and set on mirror-polished steel pillars for striking depth. The movement’s main plate and visible components feature a satin-matte, hand-sandblasted finish. This is refined with anglage, perlage, straight-graining, and mirror polishing, a process taking over 150 hours and is inspected under 6.7× magnification to ensure flawless untreated nickel-silver parts. Every 60 seconds, the tourbillon cage and seconds wheel rotate oppositely, creating a captivating kinetic display visible through the dial and sapphire case back. Beneath this is a demanding constant-torque system: a 285-link, hand-finished chain working with a suspended fusee and differential gear that ensures even power delivery and allows continuous winding without stopping the tourbillon, echoing Berthoud’s 18th-century sea chronometers. Encased in 18ct white gold with deep-navy satin-brushed flanks and anti-reflective sapphire crystals, each watch is fully assembled, adjusted, and decorated by a single master watchmaker in Geneva, bearing their personal seal of excellence.
