Founded in Rome in 1884, Bvlgari has become renowned for its distinctive Italian approach to jewellery and watchmaking, characterised by bold design, vibrant colour and an instinctive appreciation of precious materials. The Serpenti, first introduced as a watch in the 1940s, has become one of the Maison’s most recognisable creations, its sinuous form continually reinterpreted through jewellery and horology. The Serpenti Tubogas Studs Capsule combines the iconic serpent motif with Bvlgari’s signature Tubogas technique in a striking single-spiral design. The 35mm stainless steel case is shaped as a serpent’s head and framed by an 18ct yellow gold bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds. A rich green malachite dial provides a vivid natural contrast, complemented by yellow gold-plated hands and indexes. The 18ct yellow gold crown is set with a cabochon-cut rubellite, while the supple stainless steel Tubogas bracelet is accented by five sculptural 18ct yellow gold studs. Powered by a quartz movement displaying hours and minutes, the watch is water resistant to 30 metres. The case back is specially engraved with a ‘Limited Edition’ inscription, completing this distinctive interpretation of the Serpenti Tubogas.
