Founded in Rome in 1884, Bvlgari is renowned for its distinctive Italian approach to jewellery and watchmaking, characterised by bold design, vibrant colour and innovative combinations of precious materials. The Serpenti, introduced as a watch in 1948, has become one of the Maison’s most recognisable creations, its sinuous form continually reimagined through jewellery and horology. The Serpenti Tubogas Studs Capsule combines the iconic serpent motif with Bvlgari’s signature Tubogas technique, bringing together precious gold and stainless steel in a sculptural single-spiral design. The 35mm stainless steel case is shaped as a serpent’s head and features an 18ct yellow gold bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds, framing a white mother-of-pearl dial. An 18ct yellow gold crown, set with a cabochon-cut rubellite, adds a vivid touch of colour, while the supple stainless steel Tubogas bracelet is punctuated with 18ct yellow gold studs. Powered by a quartz movement displaying hours and minutes, the watch is water resistant to 30 metres. The case back is engraved with a ‘Limited Edition’ inscription, completing this distinctive interpretation of the Serpenti Tubogas.
