Founded in 1884, Breitling is renowned for its precision chronographs and professional tool watches. Originally reintroduced in 1984 during the height of the quartz era, the Chronomat marked Breitling's bold return to mechanical watchmaking, inspired by the Frecce Tricolori chronograph developed with the famed Italian aerial squadron. Reference AB0158101C1A1 is the Chronomat B01 Chronograph 42, crafted in stainless steel with a 42mm case, the collection's signature rider-tab bezel, and the integrated stainless steel “Rouleaux” bracelet with micro-adjustment clasp. Powered by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01 automatic movement, it offers approximately 70 hours of power reserve, COSC-certified chronometer precision (28,800 v.p.h, 47 jewels), and water resistance to 200 metres.
