Patek Philippe Complications 5961R-010 Watch

Patek Philippe have been masters of complicated watchmaking since they were founded in Geneva in 1839. The 5961R-010 has been in the Patek Philippe collection since 2011, and combines both an annual calendar function with a chronograph. Launched in 1996, the immensely practical annual calendar complication automatically states the day, date and month, with manual adjustment of the date required only once per year (1st March). Chronographs have been a speciality of Patek Philippe since the beginning of the 20th century and enable the convenient measurement of periods of time. The 5961R-010 effortlessly combines both these complications with a striking ebony black opaline dial, ensuring the instantaneous windows showing the day, date and month can be easily read. The 60-minute and 12-hour monocounter (located at 6:00) is a practical addition for the busy individual, with a day and night indicator for added convenience. Housing the famous self-winding mechanical movement (calibre CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H), this piece has a maximum power reserve of 55 hours. Precision gem setting brings this special piece to life, with a gleaming bezel showcasing 36 baguette cut, colourless diamonds, totalling 3.66ct. 12 baguette cut diamonds have been used to define the hour markers on the dial (0.24ct), with the fold over clasp featuring a further 22 baguette cut diamonds (1.02 cts).
