Vintage Jewellery Selling Exhibition
This summer, we were delighted to announce our Vintage Jewellery Selling Exhibition. Featuring exceptionally rare vintage jewellery from many of history’s renowned houses created during their finest moment - when they were owned and run by the founding families – this was an unmissable event for vintage collectors and aficionados alike.
The Exhibition
A curated showcase of vintage jewellery from the 1700s to the modern day was hand-selected by the Pragnell family. The culmination of many decades of working with vintage jewellery, the exhibition comprised more than 300 pieces. It showcased some of the finest examples of vintage jewellery design and craftsmanship at the Pragnell Mount Street showroom in the heart of Mayfair.
A Family Story
The Vintage Jewellery Selling Exhibition featured an exquisite selection of exceptional quality and signed pieces from leading Houses, including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, René Boivin, and many more. These were accompanied by fine examples of English craftsmanship from the last century.
Historic jewellery houses thrived under the care of their founding families, who passionately sought the perfect piece. Their innovative use of diverse gems and commitment to skilled craftsmanship resulted in creations that were more than just accessories; they were true works of art.
Royal Heritage
We are immensely proud of our tapestry of royal connections, which stretches back to the early 19th century. A highlight of the exhibition included a fine 1860s Garrard & Co. Silver on 18ct Yellow Gold convertible Coronet. Set with 342 old mine-cut diamonds totalling approximately 45 carats, this exceptional, versatile piece seamlessly transforms into a fringe tiara or necklace.
