César de Tray was a businessman and watch dealer in India. In 1930, he was approached by a polo player who desired a watch that could stand up to the relentless impacts of the sport. In turn, this request was sent to Jacques-David LeCoultre, who, with his engineers, devised an intelligent reversible case to protect the dial.
This pre-owned Jager-LeCoultre Reverso 48 x 28.8mm Ladies Watch is presented on a silver dial printed with distinct rose gold Arabic numerals and diamond set bezel. Housed within the 18ct rose gold case, with reversible functionality, which presents a secondary hidden black dial with Arabic six and twelve numerals. The case edges on the reverse dial are lined with horizontally set diamonds. Presented on a black alligator strap.
