IWC launches the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 George Russell, a limited-edition timepiece created in collaboration with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ driver George Russell. Designed to reflect both high-performance engineering and a bold personal identity, the watch is housed in a 41.9mm case crafted from black zirconium oxide ceramic — a material pioneered by IWC and prized for its exceptional lightness and scratch resistance. The black dial is accented with printing, indices and hands filled with Super-LumiNova® in George Russell’s signature blue, a colour closely associated with his racing helmet and emblematic of his calm precision under pressure. Crown and pushers are executed in Ceratanium®, an advanced IWC-developed material that combines the lightness of titanium with the hardness of ceramic. At its heart beats the IWC-manufactured 69380 calibre chronograph movement, offering a power reserve of 46 hours and engineered for robustness and reliability. The titanium case back is engraved with George Russell’s name and his racing number, “63”, while a durable blue rubber strap with the EasX-CHANGE® system allows for effortless strap changes without tools.
