Description

Perfectly complemented by contemporary bold gold surrounds, a sparkling Asscher cut diamond (0.55ct), and contrasting pear cut example (0.40ct) have been expertly claw set commanding attention in one of the latest additions to our Skimming Stone collection. Toi et Moi is a French term meaning “you and me”, which is represented by the diamonds that feature at the centre of the design. Hugely popular as an engagement ring style during the 19th-century and early 20th-centuries the two stones represented the two lovers joining together. Joined by a buttery golden link chain (20cm) a third brilliant cut diamond (0.30ct) has been set as an eye-catching drop element by the clasp. All the diamonds set into this design are accompanied with certification from the GIA (Gemmological Institute of America) to confirm sought after F-H colour and VS1 clarity grades. As a sixth-generation family jeweller, the Pragnell family has drawn inspiration from the softly curved profile of stones found in the riverbeds of Botswana, creating this refreshing contemporary style.
